The Stable is a brewpub and micro-distillery proudly located in the Benton Park Neighborhood of St. Louis on the northeast corner of Cherokee and Lemp. Our building was where the draft horses for the historic Lemp Brewery were kept, thus the name. We are honored to once again be brewing beer on these grounds for the first time since Prohibition. In addition to our own brews, we serve up the best craft beer from across the country and the world. Starting this month we'll have 36 rotating taps, so you'll always have new selections to choose from each time you visit. We also serve great appetizers, sandwiches, and some say the best pizza in St. Louis. We hope to see you soon.

Our Brewery: We specialize in brewing traditional German lagers, using only the finest barley malt, hops, and yeast from Germany. Our styles include Helles, Marzen, Dunkel, Rauchbier, and Zoigl. All of our beer is brewed and served right on site. The person having a beer next to you at the bar may be one of our brewers.

Our Distillery: We are proud to be one of the first micro-distilleries in the area. Our distiller creates artisanal spirits in old fashioned copper pot stills. We are best known for our rum, 85 Lashes. 85 Lashes is distilled from pure cane sugar and molasses then aged in French oak to give it a distinctive flavor. It can be served alone or mixed in a cocktail --- ask for the Bullwhip or the Whiplash. Our seasonal spirits include small batches of Grappa, Peach Brandy (made from World Famous Calhoun County Peaches), Gin, and Sambuca. Each bottle is uniquely numbered and signed by our distiller.

Our Menu: We are best known for our pizza and grinder sandwiches, but our menu also offers a nice variety of entrees including steak and pasta as well as our chef's nightly specials. Each Sunday we have a beer brunch starting at 9:30 am, then on Sunday evenings we serve a five-course traditional Italian dinner. 

Events & Private Parties: We have plenty of room to host any type of event or private party you wish, including weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, birthday parties, you name it. From our Courtyard to our two private rooms, we can host groups from 20 to 200. We also host some of St. Louis' premier beer events. Each February, be sure to join us for the Beer Lovers Festival where you can sample many hard-to-find craft beer brands and styles from across the globe. On the first Saturday in May, we are *the* place for St. Louis' biggest and best Derby Party. Each October, our Monsters of Beer Festival brings in the biggest, high gravity beers from craft brewers all across the country. Mark your calendars for these and other memorable events.
